There is much talk this morning of what will be the result of Osama Bin Laden’s death, but how will this event influence the political situation in the USA?  Recently it has seemed that Obama would find it difficult to obtain a second term in the Oval Office, however the death of Osama Bin Laden will certainly look good to the incumbent President, who will be embarking on a re-election campaign soon.  It is traditionally believed that Republican presidents are tough on terrorism, yet it was a liberal President who was at the helm at such an important time.  How can any Republican contender challenge President Obama on national security issues now?
